By accessing or using GuideWriter ("the Service"), operated by GuideWriter ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. 2. Description of Service

GuideWriter is an AI-powered document generation platform. The Service allows users to create professional documents, including Product Requirements Documents, Technical Specifications, Business Requirements Documents, and other structured documents, through an interactive AI interview process. The Service includes document storage, editing, and export capabilities in multiple formats.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without authorization.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of the information you provide during interviews and the documents generated from your inputs. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs through our AI systems solely for the purpose of generating and storing your documents.

Our Service

The GuideWriter platform, including its design, code, AI prompts, templates, logos, and documentation, is owned by GuideWriter and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without our written permission. Template structures and AI prompt engineering are proprietary and may not be extracted or reproduced.

6. AI-Generated Content

  • Documents generated by GuideWriter are created using artificial intelligence and are based on the information you provide.
  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all generated documents before relying on them.
  • GuideWriter does not guarantee that generated documents will be complete, accurate, suitable for any particular purpose, or free from errors.
  • Generated documents should not be treated as professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise). Consult qualified professionals for specialized guidance.
  • The quality and relevance of generated documents depend on the quality and completeness of the information you provide during the interview process.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party AI services for processing. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or performance of third-party services. In the event of a disruption to a third-party service, the affected features of GuideWriter may be temporarily unavailable.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability & Modifications

  • We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GuideWriter and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content; (c) unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; or (d) any other matter relating to the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GuideWriter and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
